Does the voucher cover the cost of the surgery?

A:

The voucher will cover the cost of the surgery up to $50.00. Any additional cost will be the responsibility of the pet owner. Check with your veterinarian prior to the surgery to find out if there will be additional charges for post-operative care or other services.

Q:

What do I need to do to qualify for spay/neuter assistance?

A:

Spay/Neuter vouchers in the amount of $50.00 are available to pet owners who have a California State Advantage Card, and all seniors over the age of 60. You must also be a resident of the unincorporated area of the County.
