As an Animal Control Officer II, you will, under general supervision, patrol an assigned geographic area, capture unconfined and wild animals; inspect business premises; and issue citations, licenses, and/or legal notices as appropriate to enforce State, County and City codes and ordinances governing animal control.
As an Animal Control Officer III, you will serve as lead Animal Control Officer by assisting in the operation of an Animal Care Center/Shelter and in enforcing State, County and City codes and ordinances governing animal control functions such as animal care, field enforcement, shelter maintenance, licensing, and related assignments.
As a Veterinarian with us, youâll be at the forefront of providing essential medical services for the prevention, treatment, and control of diseases and injuries in animals. Beyond that, youâll be a key player in enforcing laws and regulations related to public health, contributing significantly to the overall welfare of both animals and the community.
